old pics

I've been working with my mom to get an ancient scanner hooked up to her new imac so that she can start digitizing some photos. We got it running and she has been busy getting stuff sent off to me so i can crop and play with it. Anyway, my grandfather, her father, died over the holidays this winter and we didn't have a service for him. But in a couple of weeks we're having a get together in his name. So she's been scanning a bunch of pics of her family to share online and to display at the party. I just wanted to share a little bit.
