Final class reflection

Before this semester began i thought i understood how to write papers, i thought i knew how the formatting was supposed to be done. After many classes, numerous in class activities, and multiple readings i found out that i didn't actually understand much of anything about writing a paper. But i think most importantly i found out which styles i prefer to write in. By looking back on other papers i've written in the past i figured out that the ones that came to me the easiest were fictional. Writing a story about some character always seemed to flow onto the paper for me.

Through this class I learned how to better criticize myself to ensure that the final product is the best i can do. I think my writing has changed a little after this semester, or at least the process in which i gather information and filter it to my needs. The hardest content for me to grasp this semester was most likely formatting, looking back i'm still sure i did it wrong. I expect to use the knowledge of rhetorical reflection a lot more in my life now that i understand how it works.

Of all the papers i turned in for this class i would say that it was my this i believe essay. which is strange because that was the first paper done in the class. I felt like i didn't have any restrictions and i could write as freely as possible allowing me to write down everything that came to mind as opposed to following a prompt. Now when i think about my own strengths and weaknesses i know that i shouid focus more on what i don't feel comfortable with first so that i will be well rounded out. if i had the time i would be constantly improving my works. unfortunately i hardly had enough time to finish them. The most important thing i need to work on as a writer is buckling down and doing the work.

My favorite part about the class is how it involved the entire class more often than not. My least favorite part of the class had to be whenever heavy workloads came down, like having a paper, paper reflection, reading and creating questions for seminar. The whole class was conducted very well though. All of the material was covered by the end of the semester.

reflecting on my argument??

The most important thing that i think i gained from writing this paper is how to back my own viewpoint based off of another persons argument, making an argument paper more exciting to read. I found out that writing an argument paper was much simpler than i had expected it to be. Honestly this assignment wasn't very challenging. The in class activities were more challenging which was good because it made the work for the paper seem easier. I would probably ask for more help from others if i had to do this paper again. I felt like the truth seeking part of this paper was pretty prevalent. My paper was shaped by this in a way that lets the reader decide how the culture should be viewed for themselves. how i view problems has always been around the same way so i suppose it refined my view of the world.
